What is JUTE:
This silky fibre has a golden shine to it and so is referred to as “The Golden Fibre”.  
 

There are many reasons for this but the most important is that Jute is fully sustainable; it is estimated that there is enough Jute to provide everybody in the world with two bags per year!  
Jute is one of the most affordable natural fibres that can be spun into coarse, strong threads.  
It is 100% bio-degradable.

Jute is a strong, natural affordable fibre with a low carbon and water footprint.

Jute is a wonderfully versatile material – aside from the fibres being used to make fabrics, they are also used for twine, shoes and bags. 
Nothing is genetically modified where Jute is concerned, no pesticides or fertilisers are used to enhance the growing process. 
Its water footprint is also low as it is largely rain fed meaning that it does not rely on irrigation.
